Might be a touch of sour grapes here, but JEEPERS!!!!, BLOODY WOGS! I reckon they need to take a good hard look at the reffing in this game, especially since half the Italian team is under investigation for match fixing and corruption! But anyway, well done aussies you have made all Australia proud of you and may this be the start of many successful years of soccer. Can't believe we got done like we did. I'm shattered and of to the pub now to talk it over with some other poor shattered souls.
The whole story is that the bloody ref was too buggered to keep reffing for the over time that he decided to blow a penalty to end the game!
That's my theory anyway......

although i am getting rather annoyed about people going too far about how much aussies are into soccer now, i read a poll on ninemsn asking if socer was gonna become the new national sport of australia, 16,000+ voted yes, although 28,000 had the sense to vote no, thats really just getting caught up in the moment, yeah it will change the profile in aus but come on overtake cricket????
yeah dan, because beer drinking and rabbit killing are already 2 of the Ozlands favo sports.

so i have the fortune(some may argue misfortune- not me) of sitting across from your little sis, we are seperated by a silver radio and standard office divider.. i have heard a lot about blogs, never read them until this lunch hour... i am fascinated, i now know why little sis giggles constantly and always seems busy, she is either reading yours or updating hers, though wont link it to me (has me thinking!)..anyway, you have been bookmarked..who knows maybe i will start my own but i lack wit and interest in my life so why waste others time
